During 10 - 12 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. In addition, tropical storm ?MULAN? over the upper South China Sea is expected to move pass Hinan Island and make landfall over upper Vietnam during 10 - 11 Aug Remain rains are likely in the whole country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast and the East regions. The wind waves in the upper Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf, about 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 13 ? 16 Aug, the monsoon trough lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast will weaken. Meanwhile, the weakening southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Rains over the whole country will be decreased, however isolated heavy rains still present in the North, the Northeast regions. Wind waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 1-2 meters high, about 2 meters high in thundershowers and about 1 meter high in the lower Gulf, 1-2 meters high offshore.
Warning
During 10 - 13 Aug, people in the North and the Northeast should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and over flows. All ships in the Andaman sea and upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower.
