Thailand Daily Weather Forecast

August 11, 2022 06:00

Distribution On August 11, 2022

General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, the upper North of Thailand and upper Laos into tropical storm MULAN over upper Vietnam. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. This leads to heavy to very heavy rains in some places of the North, the Northeast and the East regions. All people should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows along the foothills near waterways and lowlands. The wind forces the waves about 2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. The lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf have the waves 1-2 meters high and thundershowers have the waves about 2 meters high.

Having made landfall over upper Vietnam, Tropical storm MULAN is expected to weaken as a tropical depression and a low-pressure cell, respectively.
