The monsoon trough lies across the upper North of Thailand and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Myanmar. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the North, the East and the South (west coast) regions.People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the area should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
