During 9 - 10 Nov, the moderate high-pressure system covers the upper country. Morning cool to cold and fog are likely in the upper country and isolated rains are possible in the East. The monsoon trough lies across the lower South. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon, which prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea is weakening caused less rains in tthe south. Result in isolated heavy rains are forecast in the south. During 11 - 15 Nov, the moderate high-pressure system covering upper Thailand will weakening. Meanwhile, the easterly and the Southeasterly winds prevailing over the lower North and the lower Northeast, the Central region, including Bangkok Metropolitan Region and the East. Result in isolated rains are likely forecasted in the upper country. Morning cool with fog with increase in temperature by 1-3 C are forecast in North, the Central and the East while 2-4 C increase in temperature are forecast in the Northeast. The low-pressure area covers Malasia. Furthermore, the northeast monsoon and the easterly winds prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea is strengthening, which resulting more rains and isolated heavy rains in the south.
Caution
People in upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather throughout the period. During 11-15 Nov, people in the South should beware of severe condition and accumulated rains that may cause flash floods and surface runoff, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ship should proceed with cautions and avoid thundershowers.
