Thailand Daily Weather Forecast
General Situation
22 November 2022
The active low-pressure cell over the lower coast of Vietnam is expected to move through the tip of Indochina into the Gulf of Thailand on 22 and 23 November. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough across the middle South results in some heavy to very heavy rains in the lower Northeast, the East and the South regions. People should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the foothills near the waterways and lowlands. The prevailing easterly and southeasterly winds at high altitude over the upper country leads to isolated thundershowers in the North, the lower Northeast and the Central regions including Bangkok and its vicinity. People should keep healthy.
The stronger winds force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and in thundershowers more than 3 meters high. The upper Gulf has waves 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers above 2 meters high. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.
