During 30 Nov - 5 Dec, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand, making thundershowers for the first period after that temperature will decrease with strong winds. For the Northeast, temperature will drop by 3-5 C while 1-4 C drop is likely in the rest regions. The northeast monsoon prevailing over Gulf of Thailand and South will strengthen with the monsoon trough will lie across the lower South. Isolated heavy to very heavy rain is forecast in the South. During 3 - 5 Dec, the wind and waves over the Gulf will strengthen with 2-3 meters in the lower Gulf and above 3 meters in thundershowers. In addition, during 2 - 3 Dec, the active low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea will move near the coast of Malaysia and the lower South, then move pass the lower South into the Andaman Sea during 4 - 5 Dec. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the South.
Caution
During 30 Nov - 5 Dec, people in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers. People in the south should beware of severe condition that may cause flash floods and water runoff, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boasts should keep ashore during 3 - 4 December 2022.
