During 6 - 10 Dec, moderate high-pressure system from China is remaining over upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Meanwhile, the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail over upper Thailand. Morning cool is likely in the North and the upper Northeast. An increasing in temperature by 1 - 2 C with morning fog and isolated light rains are likely in the upper country. During 11 - 12 Dec, another moderate high-pressure system extends to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Meanwhile, the easterly and the southeasterly winds remains over upper Thailand. A decrease in temperature with strong wind and isolated light rains are likely in the upper country. For the Northeast, a decreasing in temperature by 1 - 3 C while 1 - 2 C decrease in temperature is likely in the rest regions The monsoon trough lies across the lower South while the moderated northeast monsoon and the easterly prevail over the Gulf and the South throughout the period. During 8 - 11 Dec, the low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea will move through Malaysia, the lower Andaman Sea and the Malacca Strait with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the South. The strengthening wind and wave in the lower Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers during 9 - 11 Dec.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers and people in the south should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands throughout the period. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
