General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea, leading to morning cool. Meanwhile, the easterly winds at high altitude bring about isolated light rain over the country. People should keep healthy.
In addition, the moderate northeast monsoon and the southeasterly wind prevails across the Gulf of Thailand and the South while the monsoon trough lies across the lower South and Malaysia. Inaddition, During 8 to 11 December 2022, the low-pressure cell over Borneo island will move trough Malaysia, the lower Andaman Sea and the Malacca Strait. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains and strengthening wind force the waves are likely in the lower South. The lower Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. People should beware of severe condition and rain accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Southern (West Coast)
