During 9 - 10 Dec, moderate high-pressure system from China is remaining over upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Morning cool and fog are likely in the North and the upper Northeast with isolated light rains are likely in the upper country. 11 ? 15 Dec, another rather strong high-pressure system extends to upper Thailand. A decrease in temperature with strong wind are likely in the upper country. For the Northeast, a decreasing in temperature by 3 - 5 ?C while 2 - 4 ?C decrease in temperature is likely in the rest regions. In addition, the low-pressure cell over the east of Malaysia will move through Malaysia, the lower Andaman Sea and the Malacca Strait during 9 -12 Dec while the moderated northeast monsoon and the easterly prevail over the Gulf and the South. More rains and Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the South. The wind and wave in the lower Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers throughout the period.

During 9 - 12 Dec 2022 people in the south should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands and during 11 ? 15 Dec 2022 people in the upper country should keep healthy due to decreasing in temperature.
