The strong high-pressure system covering upper Thailand is weakening with an increase in temperature and morning fog. Cool to cold weather is likely in the North and the Northeast while morning cool is likely in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South regions. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air.
The strong northeast monsoon prevailing across the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea is weakening with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. In the lower Gulf and offshore Andaman, the waves are likely up to 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore lasting 20 December.

Surat Thani upwards : Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers in Krabi, Trang and Satun.
