During 27 - 28 Dec 2022, the rather strong high-pressure system covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Morning cool to cold and light fog are likely in upper country. During 29 Dec 2022 - 1 Jan 2023, another rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand. 2 - 4 C drop in temperature is likely in the areas with cool to cold weather. During 28 - 30 Dec 2022, the westerly wind at the high altitude passes the North with isolated light rains. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South leading the wind and wave are forecast in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. The wind and waves are expected 1 - 2 meters in the upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea while above 2 meters in thundershowers. Meanwhile the wind and wave over the lower Gulf are about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
