During 13 - 14 Jan 2023, The high-pressure system covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening. Cool to cold weather with morning light fog while the southeasterly wind bring the moist to cover the lower Northeast, Central including Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity and the East regions with isolated light rain.. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South is weakening . Isolated thundershowers in the area and isolated heavy rains are likely in the South. During 15 - 19 Jan 2023, the another strong high-pressure system from China has extend to upper Thailand and South China Sea causes cool to cold weather with windy in upper country with a decrease in temperature by 4 - 6 C in the Northeast and 2 - 4 decrease in temperature in Central including the North, the Central, Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity and the East regions. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand and the South will be stronger and isolated heavy rains are likely in the South. The wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2 - 3 meters high in the lower Gulf and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 13 - 14 Jan 2023. People of the upper should take caution when approach fog area, while the south should beware of cause from heavy rains weather. During 15 - 19 Jan 2023, the upper should take precaution of heath from cold hazard. All ships should proceed with caution and avoid thundershowers area during these period.
