General Situation

The weak high pressure system over Thailand and the South China Sea leads to an increase in temperatures and fog in the morning. There remains cool to cold in the North and Northeast while morning cool stays in the Central, the East and the upper South regions. People should keep healthy due to the variable weather. All transports take more caution in poor visibility and beware of fire due to dry air. The weaker northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the lower South. The moderate wind in the lower Gulf forces the wave 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
Inaddition, from 2 to 7 February, the southeasterly winds bring the humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. Meanwhile, the westerly wind at high altitude moves through the North and the upper Northeast with outbreaks of thundershowers.

Isolated light rain mostly along the coast.

Wave below 1 meter and offshore about 1 meters.
Southern (East Coast)
Upper portion: Morning cool.
Lower portion: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
Minimum temperature 21-24 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C.
Surat Thani upwards: Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meters and above 1 meters in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Trang and Satun.
Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C.
Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave below 1 meter and offshore above 1 meters.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Morning cool with fog. An increase in temperature by 1-3 C.
Minimum temperature 20-22 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C.
