During 3 - 5 Feb 2023, the southeasterly winds bring humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the East regions with thundershowers in the areas. The northeast monsoon and the easterly wind prevail over the Gulf of Thailand, the South and The Andaman Sea while the low cell over Borneo island will move pass Malaysia and the lower South of Thailand into the Andaman Sea with more rain and isolated heavy rain. The wind and waves in the Gulf of Thailand are 1-2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 6 - 9 Feb 2023, the westerly wind in the high level will move to the North and the upper Northeast with decreasing temperature. Meanwhile the southeasterly wind prevails over the upper country with morning fog and isolated rain in the lower Northeast, the East, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity. The northeast monsoon and the easterly wind which prevail over the Gulf of Thailand, the South and The Andaman Sea will weaken with less rain over the South.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers, and all transport take more caution in poor visibility. Farmers should prepare for crop damage. During 3 - 5 Feb 2023, all ships in lower Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
