During 10 - 13 Feb 2023, the heat low pressure cell covers over the upper country with the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the humid air from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. Day hot and haze with isolated thundershowers are likely in the areas. In addition, the westerly wind at the high altitude will bring cool to cold weather from the Tibetan Plateau and Myanmar to the upper North with cool to cold in the morning. The weak easterly and the southeasterly winds prevails over the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers. During 14 - 16 Feb 2023, another strong high pressure from China will extend to the Northeast and the South China Sea while the southeasterly prevailing the lower Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions will strengthen. Thunderstorm with gusty winds and hails will be likely in the upper country, the Northeast temperature will be decreased by 3 - 5 C with strong wind, the Central and the East region the temperature will be decreased by 1 - 3 C. The easterly and the southeasterly winds prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea will strengthen with more rain in the South. The wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea will be stronger with 1 - 2 meters high in the Gulf and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
During 14 - 16 Feb 2023, people in the upper country should beware of the severe condition by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prepare for crop damage. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
