General Situation

Another rather strong high-pressure system from China covers to lower Vietnam and the South China Sea. It is expected cover to the Northeast of Thailand by today (14 Feb 2022) and will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea by tomorrow (15 Feb 2022) while hot weather remains in the upper country. Thunderstorm with gusty winds and hails will be likely in the upper country in the first period after that temperature will decrease and strong wind. A decrease in temperature by 4 - 6 C is likely in the Northeast while 1 ? 4 C decrease in temperature is likely in the North, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East region. People in the upper country should beware of the severe condition by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage.

Scattered thunderstorms with gusty wind and hails mostly in Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 16-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Cool to cold on mountaintops. Minimum temperature 13-17 C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Central
Day hot and haze. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty wind mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Sing Buri, Ang Thong and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 35-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-15 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot and haze. Scattered thundershowers with gusty wind mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and about 1 meter offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 20-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Trang, Phangnga and Krabi. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Isolated thunderstorms with gusty wind. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southeasterly winds 10-15 km/hr.
