General Situation

The westerly trough will move pass the North during 16 ? 17 Feb 2023. Thunderstorm with gusty winds and hails will be likely in the North and the upper Northeast. People in the upper country should beware of the severe condition by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. The rather strong high-pressure system covers the Northeast, the Central, the East and the lower North. Morning cool are likely in the upper country and windy in the Northeast and the East. The easterly and the southeasterly winds prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea will strengthen with more rain in the South. The wind and waves in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea will be stronger. Waves are 2 - 3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers for the lower Gulf. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers area and small boat should ashore.

Northeastern
Morning cool with windy. Minimum temperature 15-21 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C. Cool to cold on mountaintops. Minimum temperature 10-15 C. Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Central
Isolated rains mostly in the west region. Minimum temperature 21-23 C. Maximum temperature 29-31 C. Southeasterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Partly cloudy and windy. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Surat Thani upwards: Southeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and height above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Partly cloudy. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
