During 20 - 24 Feb 2023, moderate high-pressure system extend to the upper Thailand and south china sea. Cause the upper Thailand still cool to cold in the morning and 1 - 3 C drop in temperature with windy in the Northeast. The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Wave below 1 meter and about 1 meter in thundershowers. During 25 - 26 Feb 2023, the rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper Thailand. The weather still cool to cold in the morning with windy and 2 - 5 C drop in temperature. The northeast monsoon will strengthen. Isolated thundershowers still present in the South while the wind and waves in the upper Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and about 2 meters in thundershowers while the wind and wave in the lower Gulf are 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variation weather. During 25 - 26 Feb 2023, all ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area, small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.
