General Situation

The moderate high pressure system covers upper Thailand. Cool to cold weather is likely in the North while cool in the morning is forecast in the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. People should keep healthy due to the cool weather and beware of fire due to dry air. The northeast monsoon and the easterly wind prevails across the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated heavy rains in the South. The weakening winds forces the waves in the lower Gulf 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters high. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Surat Thani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meters and above 1 meter in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phangnga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and more than 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Morning cool with partly cloudy. Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
