General Situation

The strong high-pressure system from China covers the upper country with cool to cold weather and strong wind. Cool to cold is likely in the North and the Northeast while cool in the morning is likely in the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the East. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air and strong winds. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea is strong with isolated heavy rain. The strong wind forces the waves up to 2-3 meters high in the upper Gulf and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while 2-4 meters high in the lower Gulf and more than 4 meters high in thundershowers. The waves in the Andaman Sea offshore are likely 1-2 meters high. All ships proceed with caution, and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf keep ashore and beware of inshore surges.

Wave height 2-4 meters and in thundershowers more than 4 meters.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phangnga, Krabi and Trang. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and offshore 1-2 meters.
Bangkok Metropolitan
