Thailand Daily Weather Forecast
General Situation
28 February 2023
The strong high-pressure system over upper Thailand becomes weaker affecting an increase in temperatures by 1-2 C in the area. In the North and the Northeast, cool to cold is forecast while morning cool is likely in the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the East regions. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air. The strong northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea becomes weaker with isolated heavy rains remaining in the lower South. People in the lower South should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands. The rather strong winds force the waves up to 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. People along the lower South (east coast) shore should beware of inshore surges. All ships proceed with caution, and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore lasting 28 February 2023.
