During 2 - 5 Mar 2023, another high-pressure system from China will extend to covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. The weather in upper Thailand will be cool to cold in the morning with windy and slight drop in temperature. During 28 Feb 2023, the strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with more rains and Isolated heavy rains in the lower South. The strong wind and waves in the upper Gulf of Thailand are likely 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters in thundershowers, in the lower Gulf of Thailand are likely 2 - 4 meters high and above 4 meters in thundershowers while 1 - 2 meters offshore in the Andaman Sea. During 1 - 6 Mar 2023, The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea. Isolated thundershowers with heavy rain are forecast in the South. The wind and wave in the lower Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
