General Situation

The high-pressure system over upper Thailand is weakening affecting an increase in temperatures by 1-3 C in the area. In the North, cool to cold is forecast while morning cool is likely in the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the East regions. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air. The strong northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea becomes weaker with isolated heavy rains remaining in the lower South. People in the lower South should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands. The rather strong winds force the waves about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the lower Gulf proceed with caution, and keep off thundershowers.

Northeastern
Morning cool. An increase in temperatures by 1-2 C. Minimum temperature 12-20 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Cold on mountaintops. Minimum temperature 9-14 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Central
Morning cool. An increase in temperatures by 1-2 C. Minimum temperature 17-23 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Morning cool. Hot during the day. An increase in temperatures slight. Minimum temperature 21-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and offshore about 1 meter.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers with isolated heavy rains in Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Surat Thani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and in thundershowers about 2 meters. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and in thundershowers more than 2 meters.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-36 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and offshore about 1 meter.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Hot during the day. An increase in temperatures by 1-2 C. Minimum temperature 20-25 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
