General Situation

Another moderate high-pressure system from China covers upper Vietnam China and South China Sea. It is expected to extend to upper northeastern Thailand at night of 2 March, The temperature will then slightly decrease in the upper Thailand and leading to cool to cold and strong winds. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air. The moderate northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand, the South with isolated heavy rains remaining in the lower South. People in the lower South should beware of the severe conditions. The rather strong winds force the waves about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the lower Gulf proceed with caution, and keep off thundershowers.

Central
Morning cool with light fog. Minimum temperature 19-22 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Morning cool with light fog. An increase in temperatures by 1-2 C. Minimum temperature 20-24 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and offshore about 1 meter.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rains in Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Surat Thani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and in thundershowers about 2 meters. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and in thundershowers more than 2 meters.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-36 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and offshore about 1 meter.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Partly cloudy with light fog. An increase in temperatures by 1-2 C. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
