General Situation

The weak high-pressure system covering the North, the Northeast and the South China Sea leads easterly and southeasterly winds prevails across the upper country. It causes morning light fog, isolated light rains and hot with haze during the day in the upper country while morning cool remains in the North, and the Northeast. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air. The easterly wind prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South with isolated rain in the South. The winds and waves in the lower Gulf are 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, during 12 - 14 March 2023, the moderate high pressure system from China will extend to cover the upper Thailand and the South China while there is hot in the upper country. At the same time, the westerly trough will move to the North. Summer storms, thunderstorms with gust and hails are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East, including Bangkok and its vicinity.

Isolated thundershower mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Surat Thani upwards: Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated light rains. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Morning light fog with day hot and haze. Isoalted light rains. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Southeasterly winds 10-15 km/hr.
