General Situation

The heat low-pressure cell covers the North, the Northeast and the Central of Thailand with hot and haze during the day in the upper country. The southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the lower North, the Northeast the Central and the East regions. Meanwhile, the westerly trough from Myanmar will move through the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand during 20 - 22 March 2023. Hot weather occurs in the upper country. Outbreak thunderstorms with gusty winds are likely in the upper country and hail are possible in the North and the Northeast regions. People in the areas should keep healthy due to the hot weather. People should beware of the severe condition by keeping off open-air, big trees and unsecured billboards, and farmers should prevent for crop damage. The easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South.

Northeastern
Hot and haze during the day. Isolated thunderstorm with gusty wind and hail mostly in Loei Nong Khai, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima. Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Hot and haze during the day. Isolated thunderstorm with gusty wind mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 35-39 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Hot and haze during the day. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Partly cloudy and isolated thundershowers mostly in Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Surat Thani upwards: Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot and isolated thundershowers mostly in Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and offshore about 1 meter.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Hot and haze during the day. Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
