General Situation

The heat low covers upper Thailand with hot and day haze. Very hot weather are also possible in the North and the Central regions. Meanwhile the moderate high pressure system covers the eastern portion of northeastern Thailand and the South China Sea. As a result, the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the humidity from the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea to the upper country. More, summer storms are also forecast, accompanying with isolated thunderstorms, gusty winds and hail. People should beware of the severe conditions and keep off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail across the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South.

Northeastern
Day hot and haze. Scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds and isolated hail mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 20-26 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Day hot to very hot and haze. Isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds mostly in Lopburi, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 35-40 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot and haze. Scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds and isolated hail mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 31-37 C. Southerly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and in thundershowers more than 1 meter.
Southern (East Coast)
Partly cloudy and isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-37 C. Surat Thani upwards: Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and in thundershowers more than 1 meter. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and in thundershowers more than 1 meter.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot and isolated thundershowers mostly in Phuket, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and in thundershowers more than 1 meter.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Isolated thunderstorms and gusty winds. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-38 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
