General Situation

The heat low covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot and day haze in the upper country. At the same time, the southerly and the southeasterly winds prevails over the lower Northeast, the Central and the East regions. There remains isolated thundershowers and gusty winds in the upper country. People should keep healthy due to hot weather and beware of severe conditions. In addition, the southwesterly and the northwesterly winds prevail over the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea while the low pressure cell covers the lower South China Sea. These lead to isolated heavy rains in the lower South. In addition, from 6 to 9 April, another moderate high-pressure system from China will cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. As a result, the stronger southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the Gulf and the South China Sea to the upper country where hot to very hot weather occur. It is likely to make summer storms accompanying with thunderstorms, gusty winds, isolated hail and lightning strikes. This will affect first the lower Northeast and the East, then the rest.

Hot and day haze. Very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 21-26 C. Maximum temperature 36-41 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Hot and day haze. Very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Saraburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 37-40 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-39 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and in thundershowers more than 1 meter.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and in thundershowers more than 1 meter.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Northwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and in thundershowers more than 1 meter.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 34-39 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
