During 6 - 9 Apr, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the strengthening southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over upper Thailand. Meanwhile, hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summerstorms with gust and hail will begin in the lower Northeast and the East at the first stage, then the rest regions. The easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South. During 10 - 11 Apr, the heat low covers upper Thailand with hot and haze during the day. At the same time, the southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the Central, and the East. Isolated thundershowers and gusty winds are likely in the upper country. The southeasterly and the northwesterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea. There remain isolated thundershowers in the South.
Caution
During 5 - 6 Apr, people should keep healthy due to hot weather. During 6 - 9 Apr, People in the upper country should beware of the severe condition by keeping off open-air, big trees and unsecured billboards, and farmers should prevent for crop damage.
