Weather Outlook During 19 - 25 Apr 2023
During 19 - 24 Apr, The heat low covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot and haze during the day. At the same time, the southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the Northeast, the Central and the East regions. There remains isolated thundershower with gust are likely in the upper country. The northwesterly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea and the South with isolated thundershowers in the South. During 24 - 25 Apr, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the strengthening southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to upper Thailand. Meanwhile, hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms with gust and hail will begin in the Northeast and the East at the first stage, then the rest regions. The southerly and the southeasterly winds prevails across the Andaman Sea and the South with isolated thundershowers in the South. The wind and wave in the Gulf are about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower. People in the South and the Gulf should beware of severe conditions and all ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
Caution
People in the country should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather throughout the period. During 24- 25 Apr, people in the upper country should beware of the severe condition by keeping off open-air, big trees and unsecured billboards. Avoid wearing metal decorations and using cell phone in thunderstorm. Farmers should prevent for crop and livestock damage. People in the South and the Gulf should beware of severe conditions and all ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
