During 21 - 23 Apr, The heat low covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot and haze during the day. Additionally, the southerly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the lower Central and the East regions. Resulting isolated thundershowers with gust are likely in the upper country. The northwesterly and the southwesterly winds prevail over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf with isolated thundershowers in the South. During 24 - 26 Apr, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the strengthening southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to upper Thailand. Meanwhile, hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms accompanying with thunderstorms, gust and hail will begin in the Northeast and the eastern portions of the East regions at the first stage, then the rest regions. The easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf with more rains in the South. The strengthening wind and wave in the Gulf are about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower. Afterward, the high-pressure system which covers the Norhteast is weakening leading to the weakening southerly and the southeasterly winds that bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to upper Thailand, resulting less rain. Meanwhile, hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Isolated thundershowers with gust are likely in the upper country.
Caution
People in the country should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather throughout the period. During 23 - 26 Apr, people in the upper country should beware of the severe condition by keeping off open area, big trees and unsecured billboards. Avoid wearing metal decorations and using cell phone in thunderstorm. Farmers should prevent for crop and livestock damage. People in the South and the Gulf should beware of severe conditions and all ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
