General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system over upper Thailand and the South China Sea becomes weaker. At the same time, the weakening southerly and southeasterly winds blow the humidity from the Gulf and the South China Sea into the upper country while the westerly winds at high altitude prevails over the North. Less rain is likely in the upper country but there remains thundershowers with gusty winds and isolated hail is still forecast for the North. People should beware of the severe conditions. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. Further, the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail across the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South (west coast). People should beware of the severe weather. The waves of both seas are about 1 meter high and in the thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore in a few days. From 29 Apr to 1 May, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the strengthening southerly. More, the southeasterly winds blow the humidity from the Gulf and the South China Sea into upper Thailand where hot to very hot weather occurs. Outbreak of summer storms are possible accompanying with thunderstorms, gust and hail as well as lightning strikes.

Day hot and haze and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds and hail mostly in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 20-24 C. Maximum temperature 36-41 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima and Buriram. Minimum temperature 21-26 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
Central
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Lopburi, Saraburi and Singburi. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 36-39 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers in Phang Nga, Phuket, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
