General Situation

The weakening southerly and southeasterly winds blow the humidity from the Gulf and the South China Sea into the upper country. Remains thundershowers with gusty winds still forecast for the upper country. People should beware of the severe conditions. Farmers should prevent for crop damage. Further, the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail across the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South (west coast). People should beware of the severe weather. The waves of both seas are about 1 meter high and in the thundershowers more than 1 meter high. All ships should proceed with caution. From 29 Apr to 1 May, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the strengthening southerly. More, the southeasterly winds blow the humidity from the Gulf and the South China Sea into upper Thailand where hot to very hot weather occurs. Outbreak of summer storms are possible accompanying with thunderstorms, gust and hail as well as lightning strikes.

Central
Day hot and haze and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Saraburi. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 37-40 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-39 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phang Nga, Phuket, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
