General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system over upper Thailand and the South China Sea becomes weaker. In addition, the southeasterly winds blow in the humidity from the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea to the upper country where has hot to very hot weather. Isolated thundershower with gusty winds are also forecast in the area. People should beware of the severe conditions. Further, the easterly wind across the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea is strengthening with more thundershowers in the South. Isolated heavy rains are also possible. People should beware of heavy rains. In the Gulf, the waves are about 1 meter high and in the thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Gulf keep ashore lasting 3 May.

Day hot with haze and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds and isolated mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-41 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram and Surin. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 37-39 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Day hot with haze and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 37-40 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-39 C. Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 29-36 C. Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phangnga, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds. Minimum temperature 25-29 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
