General Situation

The heat low covers the upper Thailand causes hot to very hot with haze in the upper Thailand while the southerly winds prevail over the upper country. Isolated thundershower with gusty winds are also forecast in the area. People should beware of the severe conditions. The easterly and the southeasterly winds across the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea is moderate. More thundershowers are in the South with isolated heavy rains. People should beware of heavy rains. In the lower Gulf, the waves are 1 - 2 meters high and in the thundershowers more than 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore lasting 3 May.

Day hot with haze and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds and isolated mostly in Chiang Mai, Lampang, Nan, Phrae, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 35-41 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Day hot with haze and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram and Surin. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 38-40 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Day hot with haze and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 37-40 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-39 C. Southerly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 29-36 C. Surat Thani upward: southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave height below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds. Minimum temperature 26-29 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
