During 25 - 26 and 31 May, the moderated southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with thundershowers with gustly wind and heavy rain in the Central, the East and the South. The waves in the Andaman Sea are likely 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 27 - 30 May, the southwest monsoon which prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is stronger while the low pressure cell over the coastal area of middle Vietnam is expected to move pass the country to the gulf of Mataban. More rain are likely over the country with isolated heavy to very heavy rains. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will strengthen with 2 - 3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers in the Andaman Sea. The wave in the Gulf are likely about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
People in the upper country should beware of heavy rains. People in the South should beware of heavy rains and its accumulations. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers through the period. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore during 27 - 30 May.
