General Situation

The moderated southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam and Loas. Thundershowers with gusty wind and hot during the day are likely in the country. Isolated heavy rain are likely in the Northeast and the Southwest regions. People should beware of severe conditions and keep healthy due to the weather is changing. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are 1?2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, during 27?30 May, the moderated southwest monsoon which prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is stronger while the low pressure cell over the coastal area of middle Vietnam is expected to move pass the country to the gulf of Mataban. More rain are likely over the country with isolated heavy to very heavy rains. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will strengthen with 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers in the Andaman Sea. The wave in the Gulf are 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.

Central
Isolated thundershowers with gusty wind mostly in Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Day hot. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Isolated thundershowers with gusty wind mostly in Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-38 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung,Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Isolated thundershowers with gust wind mostly in the afternoon to evening. Day hot. Minimum temperature 26-29 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
