General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the upper portion of the North and the upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over the Gulf of Tonkin. At the same time, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the country. People should beware of severe conditions that may cause flash floods. The moderate wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea about 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf with above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-29 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Pattani and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Surat Thani upwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong and Phangnga. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Phangnga upwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Phuket downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
