General Situation

The moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the upper Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand and the low-pressure cell covers the coast of upper Vietnam and Tonkin Bay. Meanwhile, the weaker monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Laos. Thundershowers will be likely mostly along the western portions of the country while isolated heavy rains are forecast for the North, the Northeast and the East. The moderate wind forces the waves 1-2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. In the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves are about 1 meter high and in thundershowers 1-2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Bueng Kan, Nakhon Phanom and Chaiyaphum. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1 - 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong and Phangnga. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Phuket upwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Krabi downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meters and 1 - 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
