During 24 - 25 Jun, the monsoon trough will lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. After that, during 26 - 29 Jun, the monsoon trough will move down to the North and the Northeast of Thailand. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea and the South will strengthen. More rains are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the eastern part of the North and the upper part of the Northeast of Thailand. During 25 - 29 Jun, The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will strengthen. The waves in the Andaman Sea are 1 - 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the offshore of the Gulf, the waves are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 24 - 29 Jun, people in Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may causes flashflood and overflows, especially, along foothills near waterways and lowlands. During 25 - 29 Jun, all ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
