During 28 - 29 June, the monsoon trough lies across the upper North of Thailand, upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. After that, the monsoon trough will lie across to upper Myanmar into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. Continuous rainfalls are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the upper Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. During 27 - 30 June, The moderate wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and Gulf are 1 - 2 meters high and in the offshore of the Gulf, the waves are 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 1 - 3 July, the wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will Strengthen. The waves in the upper Andaman sea, Phuket upward are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers, The waves in the lowwer Andaman sea, Krabi downward is 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea, about 2 meters high in offshore of the Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 30 June - 1 July , people in the country beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may causes flashflood and overflows, especially, along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
