During 1 -4 July, the monsoon trough will lie across Myanmar and Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin. Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen. Continuous rainfalls are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South. During 28 - 29 June, The moderate wind and waves in the Andaman Sea are 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 30 June - 2 July, the wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will be rather strong. The waves in the Andaman sea are 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. The wave in the Gulf are about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 3 - 4 July, the wind and waves in the Andaman sea and the Gulf are weaken. The waves in the upper Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
Warning: People in the North, the upper Northeast and the South beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may causes flashflood and overflows, especially, along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period. Small boat in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore during 30 June - 2 July.
