Weather Outlook During 29 June - 5 July 2023
During 30 June - 2 Jul, the southwest monsoon prevailing the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen with the monsoon trough will lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast. More rain and isolated heavy rain are likely over the country with isolated very heavy rain in the South ( west coast ). The rather strong wind rises the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. The waves in the lower Andaman sea and the upper Gulf are forecast about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. During 3 - 5 July, the southwest monsoon prevailing the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will weaken with the monsoon trough lying across the upper North and the upper Northeast is weakening. Less rain is expected over the country while isolated heavy rain remains in the North, the East and in the South ( west coast ). The wind and waves in the Andaman sea and the Gulf will weaken. The waves in the upper Andaman Sea remains 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. The waves in the lower Andaman sea and the upper Gulf are forecast 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
People in the North, the upper Northeast and the South beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may causes flashflood and overflows, especially, along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period. Small boat in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore during 29 June - 2 July.
