During 6 - 12 July 2023
The moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure covers upper Vietnam throughout the period with thundershowers in the country. During 8 - 10 July, the southerly and southeasterly winds will prevail over the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South more rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country. During 7 - 12 Jul, the moderate winds and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter and 1 - 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
During 8 - 10 Jul, People in Thailand should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flashflood and overflows, especially, along foothills near water ways and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
