General Situation

The southwest monsoon which prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen while the low pressure covers the upper Vietnam. Thundershowers and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country. People should beware of severe conditions. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are 1-2 meters high and about 2 meters in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Addition, During 16-20 July, the monsoon trough will move down to the North, the Northeast and the upper Central of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over the upper South China Sea. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the overall country. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2?3 meters high, above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Gulf, the waves are 1-2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Lopburi, Saraburi, Singburi, Angthong, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-37 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
