General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the upper portions of North and Northeast of the country, and the southwest monsoon across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf is strong. This causes more rains with isolated heavy rains in the country and isolated very heavy rains in the Northeast the East and the South (westcoast). People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash floods and overflows. In the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, waves 2-3 meters high and thundershowers more than 3 meters high. In the lower Gulf, waves are about 2 meters high and thundershowers more than 2 meters high. Ships in the lower Gulf proceed with caution and avoid thundershowers while ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore. In addition, severe tropical storm TALIM over the upper South China Sea is moving west-northwest through Hainan and enter upper Vietnam from 18 to 19 July.

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Lopburi, Saraburi and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and in thundershowers more than 2 meters.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains. in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 27-28 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
