General Situation

The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the Northeast and the Central. Very heavy rains are also possible in some area of the East and the South regions. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. For the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, waves are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while the lower Gulf has waves about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand proceed with caution and avoid thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore. In addition, tropical storm ?TALIM? has downgraded to a tropical depression. It was at Bac kan, Vietnam. it is moving west. It will decline to an active low pressure cell, respectively.

Northern
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Mae Hong Son, Tak, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 36-38 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Chaiyaphum, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
E
astern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Surat Thani northwards: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters offshore. Nakhon Si Thammarat southwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 28-31 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.

Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
