General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and the Northeast into the low pressure cell over middle coast Vietnam while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Thundershowers and isolated heavy rains are in the country. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. For the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, waves are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while the lower Gulf has waves about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand proceed with caution and avoid thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore.

Northern

Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kanchanaburi, Lopburi and Saraburi. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Surat Thani northwards: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters offshore. Nakhon Si Thammarat southwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers more than 3 meters.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.
