During 20 - 26 July 2023
During 20 Jul, the monsoon trough lies across the upper North and the upper Northeast with the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Heavy rains are likely in the overall country while isolated very heavy rains in the East and the South (west coast). During 21 - 26 Jul, the monsoon trough will be strengthen and move down to the North, the Northeast and the upper Central of Thailand. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. More rains with isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the overall country. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2 - 3 meters high, above 3 meters high in thundershowers throughout the period.
Caution
People in Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along water ways and lowland. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore throughout the period.
