Thailand Daily Weather Forecast
General Situation
21 July 2023
The monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast into the low pressure cell over middle coast Vietnam while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. More rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. For the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, waves are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while the lower Gulf has waves about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. Ships proceed with caution and avoid thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore.
